<p><strong>ECDE Teachers and Caregivers in Nairobi County will earn a basic salary between Kshs 21,500 and Kshs 28, 970.</strong></p>
<p><strong>In addition to their basic salary, a commuter allowance of Kshs 4, 000 and house allowance of Kshs 6, 750 will be issued.</strong></p>

<p><strong>ECDE teachers who will be employed by the County Government of Nairobi will be expected to:</strong></p>
<ol>
<li><strong>Organise and facilitate playing/ learning activities for learners.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Take care of and nurture the spiritual, moral, mental, social, aesthetic, emotional and physical growth of learners (holistic development).</strong></li>
<li><strong>Prepare and develop playing/ learning materials for learners.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Take charge of ECDE classes.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Maintain professional and administrative records- schemes of work, lesson plans, learners attendance register and a daily programme of activities.</strong></li>
