TSC Hardship allowances per job group 2020-2021 CBA

The Teachers Service Commission is tasked with the recruitment, employment, and promotion of teachers across Kenya.

However the salaries paid to Kenyan teachers are determined by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission, SRC.

Furthermore, it is crucial to note that the allowances paid to teachers depend on the location of the school in which the tutor has been posted.

Those working in highly marginalized areas receive extra perks owing to the numerous challenges they face including inadequate food, poor transport and communication systems, insecurity, and unfavorable climatic conditions.

This article shall highlight TSC hardship allowances per job group and grade as listed by the Sarah Serem-led Salaries and Remuneration Commission, SRC.

BELOW IS A SUMMARY OF THE LATEST TSC HARDSHIP ALLOWANCE PER MONTH BASED ON TEACHERS’ GRADES, AND T- SCALE
