The registration of candidates for 2026 Kenya Junior School Education Assessment, KJSEA, started on 2nd March, 2026. This is two weeks after the start of registration for KPSEA and KCSE examination. HOW TO ACCESS THE KNEC CBA PORTAL.
Here’s how to access the CBA portal where the KPSEA and KJSEA candidates are registered.
- Access the CBA portal using the link: https://cba.knec.ac.ke/
- Log in with the centre code as username and password.
- Confirm the data protection checkbox, then click on the “Sign In” button.
SMS One-Time-Password Confirmation
- After logging in, the Head of Institution will update his/her credentials (name & mobile phone number).
- Enter a one-time secret code that will be sent to the registered phone number.
- Verify the Code and you will be redirected to the “Authorized Applications” dashboard.
- Click “Registration & SBAs” and start registering your candidates.

- KJSEA 2nd March to 31st Match, 2026
- KCSE 16th February to 31st March, 2026
