Producing a straight-A during the Kenya National Examinations Council, KNEC national exams is not a walk in the park. It takes a lot of determination, dedication, and hard work.
During the recently released KCSE 2020 national exams, however, some of the schools made history after posting not only impressive mean scores but also the highest number of A plains.
Kindly note that for a candidate to score an A plain during KCSE national exams,s/he must attain at least 81 points

KCSE 2020 Top Schools with Straight As in 2021 per County and Region
2020 KCSE TOP 3 SCHOOLS WITH MORE PLAIN As
The top 3 positions are dominated by highly ranked schools in the first tier technically referred to as National Schools.
These schools usually admit learners from across the 47 counties at form one level based on merit, regional balance, and affirmative action then mould them to achieve their best at KCSE Level.
Alliance High School (Boys)
In position one we have Alliance Boys which produced 77 straight As. During the KCSE 2019 national examinations, Alliance High still dominated the list of schools with the highest number of As after 48 candidates scored A plain grades.
Alliance High School, therefore, recorded a positive deviation in terms of the number of As since 29 more KCSE candidates posted As in KCSE 2020 exams.

Kapsabet Boys National School
In the second-best position is Kapsabet Boys National School with 65 clean As.
Kapsabet Boys did not appear in the list of Top 10 schools with the highest number of As during the 2019 KCSE results but it clinched the second-best overall position in terms of the mean score.

Alliance Girls High School
In the third position, we have Alliance Girls High School. The school maintained its position after producing 55 straight As during the 2020 KCSE exams.
In the previous KCSE results (2019), the school produced 27 straight As. The school, therefore, registered an upward trend this year in terms of the highest number of quality grades is concerned.
