Elderly Wajir Woman spotted wearing a carton box as a mask receives free washable masks
A twitter user, moved by the plight of an elderly woman in Wajir, who was spotted wearing a carton box as a face mask, has gifted mothers in Wajir 250 washable masks.
Halima Hillow and her three sisters purchased 250 masks which they sent over to the ladies working in Wajir open-air markets.
The Good Samaritan, Halima Hillow then took a photo of the lady wearing her new washable mask which she was grateful for.
A good Samaritan has touched the hearts of many by spreading love amidst the covid-19 pandemic.
Halima Hillow with the help of her three sisters reached out to a woman who was spotted wearing a carton box instead of a face mask to keep the dreaded coronavirus at bay, purchasing new washable masks for all the women in the market.
She then posted a photo of the woman wearing a carton box and another while wearing the new washable mask.
“Alhamdullilah after highlighting a picture of a mother with a box as a mask from Wajir, I would like to say with the help of my 3 sisters we were able to send 250 washable masks that were donated to mothers at the market in Wajir. We shall send more in sha Allah.” Tweeted Halima, the good Samaritan.
