<p>Professor George Magoha, the CS Education has told Kenyans to expect the release of this year’s KCPE results long before Christmas.</p>
<p>He further added that KCPE candidates will be aware of the schools they will join at form one level by Christmas so that parents will prepare adequately.</p>
<p>This means that the candidates will receive their results before November elapses.</p>
<p>The marking exercise of the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education has already kicked off in all the 11 centres set aside for the process.</p>
<p>According to the Kenya National Examination Council, KNEC 7000 examiners have been contracted to mark KCPE English Composition and Kiswahili Insha papers.</p>
<p>The rest of the papers will be marked using the new optical mark recognition (OMR) machine.</p>
<p>Last year’s KCPE exams were released on 19th December.</p>
<p>According to Dr Mercy Karogo, KNEC CEO, the coordination of KCPE Composition and Insha will take place between 1st and 20th November 2019.</p>
<p>Last year’s best KCPE candidates scooped 453 out of 500 marks.</p>
