The last few weeks have seen Jubilee undergo a major metamorphosis as President Uhuru announced changes.

There were clear earlier indications that Duale might be replaced by Amos Kimunya. However the man seems to have received a pat on the shoulders by the gods themselves.
The latest purge seems to target Deputy President William Ruto’s sympathizers.
Senator Kithure Kindiki, Majority Whip Benjamin Washiali, and Cecile Mbarire Kicked Out
The first jubilee members to face the wrath of a scorned president were Professor Kithure Kindiki, the deputy senate speaker and Majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen.
Kindiki knew goose was fried after 51 members voted for a motion set to dethrone him. Senate Majority whip Irungu Kang’ata was the brain behind the ouster.
Kindiki’s removal came a few days after the dethroning of Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen.
