The Kenyan Gospel industry has been hit following preliminary reports indicating that Papa Dennis, a Kenyan Gospel musician is dead.

The renowned musician’s body was found lying outside a house in Ngara, Nairobi.
Papa Dennis who hails from Matunda, Western Kenya is popular for his coveted award, 2018 AFRIMMA which is a special preserve for the best Gospel art.
His hit song is dubbed Tornado. Papa Dennis recently survived a grisly road accident that left his car wrecked.
PAPA DENNIS’ BRIEF HISTORY
Dennis was orphaned at a tender age. He consequently had to make ends meet by selling second-hand clothes.
He was later signed under the Maliza Umaskini label by his manager Sadat Muhindi.
Kenyans on social media have mourned Papa Dennis with many recalling his indispensable role in the growth of the Kenyan Gospel industry with nostalgia.
