Nyabondo High School’s KCSE 2025 Results Analysis & Grade Count

Nyabondo High School recorded impressive results in the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, KCSE. A total of 332 out of 406 Candidates scored a mean grade of C+ (plus) and above to qualify for university admissions in 2026. This translated to a Direct University Transition rate of 81.77%.

KCSE Results – Meaning of X, Y, P, W and U

W – Withheld Results

The ‘W’ grade denotes that a candidate’s examination results have been withheld on suspicion of involvement in examination malpractice. This means that investigations are ongoing to ascertain the validity of the claims.

X – Absent Candidate

A candidate receives an ‘X’ grade when they are declared absent, indicating that they did not sit for one or all papers in the examination.
