TSC Transfers 2022/2023 List of Transferred Employees
TSC Transfers; as mandated by the Constitution of Kenya, the Teachers Service Commission TSC has effected several transfers for its employees this year.
TSC Effects Transfers 2022/2023
Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has made another round of changes in its field officers in order to replace those who had earlier been promoted or moved to new stations.
Among those affected in the new movements include Martha Mbugua who was the TSC Deputy Director, Nyandarua who also doubled up as the Nyandarua Central Sub-county Director. She now shifts to Uasin Gishu, to swap places with Boniface Ngugi who was the Deputy TSC Director as well as Turbo Sub-County Director.
Jane Nyakoe who has been Elgeyo Marakwet Deputy Director and also in charge of Keiyo North Sub-County proceeds to West Pokot in similar capacity, exchanging places with David Mogaka.
Similarly, Gerald Kamunde who has been the Nyandarua TSC Deputy Director has been moved to Machakos to replace Phanice Mwito who is currently facing some disciplinary issues.
Jackson Mutai who has been TSC Deputy Director in Homabay has been transferred to Kasarani in Nairobi County as Sub-county Director, and was replaced by Dr. Truphosa Korir.
Edward Zani who has been the Dagoreti Sub-County Director has been promoted to Deputy Director and posted to Makueni. He replaces David Gutu, who has since been promoted to be TSC Director Tana River County.
In the changes, a number of Sub-County Directors were also moved to new stations and they include Millicent Odhiambo who is the Kangundo Sub-County Director in Machakos, who has been moved to the TSC Headquarters’ in similar capacity. The same case applies to Kimani Mauta who has been the Molo Sub-County Director.
Education News has also learnt that a Sub-County Director from Kitui whose name we could not immediately establish has also been moved to the headquarters.
At the same time Salome Ombiso who was the Bungoma West Sub-county Director has been promoted and posted to Nyamira as the Deputy Director to replace Kamunde.
Ann Wamugunda who has been at the TSC headquarters as Sub-County Director now moves to Dagoreti in a similar capacity to replace Zani.
These changes follow a number of transfers and promotions conducted by the teachers’ employer in the last two months where several TSC Deputy Directors were promoted to full directors to replace those who proceeded for retirement or those with disciplinary cases. During the same period, the Commission also transferred a number of directors to new stations in what the organization calls measures to improve service delivery.
At the same time, the Commission has initiated the process of promoting some deputy principals to replace principals who exited service this year. This exercise was done online last week and the deputy principals who were successfully promoted are expected to assume office at the start of the new term.
