She appealed to all teachers to take advantage of the opportunity provided by the government to take the Covid-19 jab.
So far, over 92000 teachers have taken the jab.
Dr. Macharia also expressed regret for the 15 lives of practising teachers lost to the ravaging pandemic. She noted that 8 heads and 3 deputies have succumbed to the virus
