<p>The idea, conceived on June 2, finally bore fruit as two KTN news anchors; Fridah Mwaka and Lofty Matambo finally released a new hit aimed at raising awareness about the novel COVID-19 virus.</p>
<p>While speaking to the Standard Digital Entertainment, Mwaka said that they saw it fit to voice their sentiments to aid in the battle against the new coronavirus.</p>
<p>“Lofty and I were in the newsroom when the thought of doing a song came to us. We are both gospel artistes and we thought, why not have a corona song? We visited Saint P who owns a studio dubbed Sasa Muziki and shared our thoughts with him. Once the deal was done, we started writing the song. I put my verse in Giriama since the three of us come from the Coast,” said Ms. Mwaka.</p>
