The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has opened the online portal for Teachers to declare their 2023-2025 biannual Income, Liabilities and Assets. The wealth declaration exercise for 2025 is currently underway and will end on the midnight of December 31, 2025. This declaration of income, assets, and liabilities is a requirement for all public officers every two years under the Public Officer Ethics Act. The online portal is accessible to teachers who have activated their official email addresses, and interns are exempt from the process.

Summary of the 2025 Wealth Declaration

  • Purpose: To declare income, assets, and liabilities as required by the Public Officer Ethics Act.
  • Period: The exercise is conducted after every two years; the last one was in 2023.
  • Deadline for Wealth declaration: Midnight of December 31, 2025.
  • Who must declare: All teachers employed by the TSC under permanent terms, including those on leave, interdiction, or suspension.
  • Who is exempt: Interns are exempt from this exercise. They are not supposed to declare wealth online.

  • Which is the official TSC Wealth Declaration Link?: Visit the official TSC wealth declaration portal by using the link: https://tsconline.tsc.go.ke/site/index.
  • Penalty/ Consequences of non-compliance: Failure to declare or providing false information can result in a fine of up to Ksh. 1 million, imprisonment for up to one year, or both, as well as potential administrative or disciplinary action. 
  • How will you know that your Wealth declaration is succesful? The Commission will send a copy of your declaration to the registered Email. Plus, you will also receive a confirmation SMS like: Please note that, TSC will confirm receipt of your declaration via SMS. You will get a message like: “Dear (Your Name) your declaration (DIAL) for 2023-2025 has been submitted successfully”

Requirements for online Wealth Declaration

  • Basic information: TSC number, contact details, place of birth, marital status, education level, and home county.
  • Personal details:
    • Income: Salaries and any other income for the two-year period.
    • Assets: Details of land, property, vehicles, and other assets.
    • Liabilities: Information on any loans or other debts.
    • Please note that the values should be entered without separation by Commas, i.e 2000000 instead of 2,000,000.
  • Spouse and children: Full name and ID for your spouse, and names and gender for children under 18.
  • Witness details: Names, ID number, and address of a witness.
