TSC Replacement Vacancies and Merit lists per county
TSC Teachers Replacement Current Vacancies
As mandated by the Kenyan Constitution, the sole employer for qualified teachers in Kenya dubbed the Teachers Service Commission usually declares replacement vacancies at least three times per year to fill slots left empty by teachers who have exited service either through retirement or via natural attrition.
Currently, the Commission is in the process of filling 1,550 vacancies advertised in February to replace teachers who exited service through natural attrition.
Distribution of TSC Replacement vacancies per County
The vacancies are meant for TSC registered primary, P1 and secondary school teachers.
The number of TSC Replacement vacancies per county varies each time depending on the number of teachers who have exited service at that particular point in time. For instance, in 2021, a total of 1550 teachers exited service paving way for 1,119 replacement posts in primary schools and 431 posts in secondary schools by February.
