Teachers with the following subject combinations are lucky after TSC announces this
For the last five years Teacher’s service commission had been facing shortage of teachers taking the following combinations. 1. Physics and Chemistry. 2. Biology and Agriculture. 3. Mathematics and physics. 4. Mathematics and computer.
Since the introduction of competency based curriculum, Kenyan education has focused mostly on sciences. Nowadays, education is practical in nature; as the students are being taken through practicals in various institutions to increase their creativity and innovation as learning has been made to be learner centered unlike teacher centered.
Teachers who graduated with the above subject combinations are lucky as they will land into jobs faster as most of the students as preferring to take science subjects to increase scientific research and innovations in the current society.
Congratulations to Teacher’s Service Commission for introducing competency based curriculum in Kenya as graduands who took above subjects combinations are lucky as they will land into jobs faster now.
