President Uhuru Kenyatta has told men to seduce women with respect.

He spoke today when he commissioned the JKIA Westlands today following chaos that erupted at City Hall after the County Assembly speaker Beatrice Elachi attempted to reclaim her position.

The project was officially launched near Cabanas, Mombasa Road.

The president made the statement in jest in what seems like a reaction to the fracas that erupted at City Mall.

“Wazee waheshimu akina mama..si kwenda kumkosea mwanamke heshima…wewe enda umtongoze pole pole… ukibahatika sawa…ukikosa tafuta mwingine.”

The statement loosely translated means that it is high time men respected women. Besides, they should seduce them slowly, if they come through, well and good but if they don’t, they should look elsewhere.

Amid fits of laughter emanating from the crowd, President Uhuru further said that seducing with respect unites people irrespective of one’s tribe.

He further pointed out that this is the only way to eradicate tribalism. Even though we are competing, let us not forget that we have to accommodate each other.

CHAOS
City Hall last Wednesday was full of chaos that lasted three hours after Speaker Elachi made a comeback.

Property was vandalized, phone accessories were stolen as rival groups forced their way into the assembly.

The Members of County Assembly are divided with some backing up Elachi’s return while others vehemently opposing it.
