Moi Girls’ High School- Eldoret KCSE 2025 Results Analysis & Grade Count

Moi Girls’ High School- Eldoret in Uasin Gishu, Rift Valley Region, recorded impressive results in the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, KCSE. A total of 432 out of 442 Candidates scored a mean grade of C+ (plus) and above to qualify for university admissions in 2026.

Here is  the school’s official results as released by the Kenya National Examinations Council, Knec, on January Thursday 9th, 2025 at AIC Chebisaas High School in Eldoret; Uasin Gishu County.

SCHOOL’S 2024 KCSE PERFORMANCE:

In the 2024 KCSE, the school had 417 candidates, with 97.89% achieving the minimum university entry grade under full government sponsorship.

32 students scored a straight A, while 100 scored an A-. Additionally, 135 students attained a B+, 94 scored a B, while 34 managed a B-.

The school’s impressive performance saw the 2024 candidates achieve a mean score of 9.75.

KCSE Results – Meaning of X, Y, P, W and U

W – Withheld Results

The ‘W’ grade denotes that a candidate’s examination results have been withheld on suspicion of involvement in examination malpractice. This means that investigations are ongoing to ascertain the validity of the claims.

X – Absent Candidate

A candidate receives an ‘X’ grade when they are declared absent, indicating that they did not sit for one or all papers in the examination.

Y – Examination Irregularity

When a candidate is marked with a ‘Y’ grade, it signifies their involvement in an examination irregularity.

P – Pended Results

The ‘P’ grade indicates that a candidate’s examination results have been pended due to an infringement on the entry requirements for the examination.

U – Ungraded Results

Candidates receive a ‘U’ grade when their examination results are ungraded due to an infringement of the awards criteria.
