KUCCPS is a newly established placement service that ensures 100 percent transition of students who have completed secondary education and sat for the transitional Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, KCSE.

The KUCCPS online student portal currently offers a wide range of programmes including 546 degree programmes, 220 diploma courses , 114 certificate programmes, and 145 artisan courses.

The range of programmes offered by KUCCPS ensures that no KCSE candidate is left to rot in the village after completing secondary education.

The cut off points for each programme differs from one institution to the other but the good news is that graduates finally compete for the same job opportunities after completion of KUCCPS programmes.

KUCCPS Latest News Update 2022/2023

The latest details on the 2022 KUCCPS placement indicate that the KUCCPS placement portal has now been opened to allow the 2021 KCSE candidates who recently received their knec results to apply for placement to tertiary institutions.

Besides, KUCCPS recently waivered entry requirements for some courses, scrapping the mandatory Mathematics requirement for students wishing to pursue a degree in education and later work as teachers.

KUCCPS Second revision of courses 2022/2023

KUCCPS usually allows applicants who for one reason or another are dissatisfied with their placement results to revise their course choices.

This year’s KUCCPS second revision of courses for 2021 KCSE students will take place in May 2022 ahead of the official reporting dates in June.

The second revision of courses applies to candidates who would like to change their course choices only.

KUCCPS Paybill Number; KUCCPS Business Number for Payment 2022/2023

Kindly note that no KUCCPS service is offered for free.

To enjoy KUCCPS services online, some processing fee is paramount.

Since one cannot physically present themselves at the KUCCPS headquarters to pay for the services, KUCCPS allows applicants to pay processing fees via M-PESA Paybill number 820221.

STEPS FOR PAYING FOR KUCCPS APPLICATION/ REVISION FEE VIA M-PESA 2022-2023

Using your phone or tablet, access the M-Pesa sim tool kit.

From the M-Pesa drop-down menu, select the Lipa an M-Pesa option.

Select Paybill

Enter the KUCCPS Business number 820221.

When requested to provide your account number, enter your KCSE year which is 2021 followed by your KCSE index number without spacing.

Complete the process by entering your M-Pesa pin and hitting the send button.

N/B: Kindly note that following the payment for KUCCPS services, you should receive two payment confirmation SMS messages. One of them should emanate from M-PESA and the other from the central placement service.

Unlike form one admission letters that are usually centralized at the Ministry of Education’s portal, the KUCCPS admission letters are usually decentralized.
