KUCCPS is a government agency which selects students to join both public and private universities, national polytechnics, colleges, technical training institutes and other accredited tertiary learning institutions under government sponsorship.
The agency was established to facilitate and coordinate the placement of government-sponsored learners to tertiary learning institutions.
Besides this, it is tasked with developing and implementing career programmes for learners.
It also disseminates information on currently available programmes, collects data on university and college placements and selects learners for admission to higher learning institutions.
KUCCPS was established under the Universities Act(2012).
