<p>The Kenya Certificate of Primary Education, KCPE, national Examinations have kicked off.</p>
<p>The over 1 million KNEC registered candidates this year will be anxiously waiting for the contracted Knec examiners to do their part-marking, awarding and compiling the scores of all KCPE candidates.</p>
<p>Once the marking process is complete, the CS education will officially release the KCPE results.</p>
<p>Unlike in the past when candidates were forced to wait for the physical arrival of their results in their respective schools or examination centres for up to three days, the council has embraced technology that enables all KCPE candidates access their results digitally</p>

<p><strong>How to receive your KCPE 2020 KNEC results, digitally via 20079 in 2021 </strong></p>
<p><strong>Requirements for accessing your KCPE 2020/2021 Knec results digitally via the official KNEC SMS Code 20076</strong></p>
<p>1. The correct KNEC SMS Code 20076</p>
<p>This will be used to send your KCPE index number as shown below.</p>

<p>Note: Remember to send your full index number and not the last three digits like 004.</p>
<p>3. A digital device- a mobile phone or tablet</p>
<p>4. Airtime-at least Kshs 25 on your sim card since Kshs 25 charges do apply for a single SMS to the Knec code 20076.</p>
<p><strong>How to receive your KCPE 2020 Knec results digitally via 20076; Three-Step Process</strong></p>
<p>1. Access the &#8220;Messages&#8221; tab on your mobile phone or tablet and &#8220;<span style="text-transform: initial;">Compose&#8221; a new message directed to the KNEC Official SMS Code 20076 as shown below</span></p>

<p>2. Type your full KCPE index number followed by the word KCPE as indicated below</p>

<p>3. Click on &#8220;Send.&#8221; At this stage, a prompt message will pop up notifying you that if you send a message to the KNEC SMS Code 20076, some charges will definitely apply-the Kshs 25 earlier mentioned as shown below.</p>

<p>If you do agree with the terms, complete the process by sending the message then wait patiently for your KCPE results to be sent to the mobile phone number you used to request.</p>
<p>Important notes</p>
<p>The council may take some time to respond to your request. You are therefore advised to wait patiently since the KNEC bulky SMS system may be busy given that over 1 million candidates will be trying to access the results.</p>
<p>Secondly, you can only access your KCPE results after they have been officially released by the Cabinet Secretary in charge of Education. If you send the SMS before the release of the results, you will not get any feedback. Kindly wait for an official notification about accessing your KCPE Knec scores from the relevant authorities.</p>
<p>Nobody can tamper with your KCPE Knec results, therefore whatever KCPE scores you receive via your mobile phone is a true reflection of your effort.</p>
