The Kenya Highlands Evangelical University (KHEU) , is a premier private Christian university located in Kericho, Rift Valley Region of Kenya. The university is sponsored by the Africa Gospel Church (AGC) and was chartered by the government of Kenya on March 23, 2011.

  • 1932:  The Kenya Highlands Evangelical University began as a Bible training school founded by missionaries of the World Gospel Mission .

  • 1989: It was registered as a private college and began its journey to becoming a university under the name Kenya Highlands Evangelical University .
  • 2011: Received an official “Charter” from President Mwai Kibaki and changed its name to Kenya Highlands University .
