KCSE 2021-2022 Knec  Examination Results Will be Released On This Date-CS Magoha Confirms

New KCSE 2021 KCSE Results Release Date Revealed Amid Demonstrations Staged by Examiners Bordering on Delayed Allowances

Following the latest Knec statistics at hand, the council is fully armed to the tooth to ensure that the 2021-2022 KCSE exams are marked within 15 days, thus the exercise is expected to officially end on 15th April 2022, and results released by April 22, 2022, which shall be exactly a week after completion of marking exercise.

In summary:

Aden Duale has voiced fear of mass cancellation of this year’s KCSE Results for candidates within the North Eastern Region.

The April 25 deadline for releasing KCSE Results may have flopped if Knec doesn’t move with speed to resolve an impasse bordering on delayed payment of allowances for examiners at some centers.

The April 25th deadline for the release of 2021/2022 KCSE Results May be changed if Knec does not reach a consensus with the 2022 contracted examiners currently stationed at over 45 marking centers within Nairobi and its environs.

This follows details of a go-slow at some Knec marking centers over an unresolved impasse brought by delayed allowances for the examiners.

According to reliable sources, examiners stationed at Starehe Girls Centre today staged a mild demonstration demanding the immediate release of their dues.

Knec usually pays the examiners an advance of up to Kshs 20,000 once the marking process is complete. Consequently, the 2022 KCSE examiners should have signed forms to initiate the process of releasing the Knec payment this year. Unfortunately, Knec is yet to release these payment forms and now examiners are fearing that they may not get their dues in time just like last year.

According to KNEC, the process of marking the 2021 Kenya national examinations which commenced on April 4 is expected to come to a Closure this week on Friday.  This is the second last week now since the exercise kicked off on Monday last week

This year, the council did not train more KCSE and KCPE examiners on how to effectively award learners the correct grades while marking the 2021-2022 KCSE and KCPE national exams.

Knec is therefore relying on seasoned and well-versed examiners to deliver the results in good time.

In 2021, Knec trained more examiners in English, Kiswahili, Biology, Chemistry, Agriculture, CRE, History, and Government so as to help in speeding up the process of marking and awarding marks to 2021 KCSE candidates.

All KCSE examiners for all the papers for this year reported to their respective stations from April 3, 2022.

2022 indeed remains a busy year with 5 major examinations expected to take place beside the upcoming TSC teachers’ training for PE and Science teachers in April 2022.

The 2022 KCSE Examinations will be conducted in December 2022. The examiners will report to their respective marking centers by January 2023.
