KCPE results Release Date Pushed to  Tuesday March 28, 2022 Next Week by CS Magoha

Knec News Today: CS Magoha has today cleared doubt and premature anticipation as to when the 2021 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education, KCPE examination results (March 2022 Edition) will be released.

The latest confirmed KCPE results release date is Tuesday 28th March, 2022.

According to The Star, the date has been adjusted owing to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s personal diary. Remember that the Cabinet Secretary in Charge of Education has got no powers to release national examinations without receiving a nod from the President himself.

The head of state therefore will be briefed by CS Magoha on how the 2021-2022 KCPE candidates faired during national examinationa at Stae House before proceeding to the KNEC headquaters – Mtihani House along the Dennis Pritt Street in Nairobi for the formal release of the KCPE results.

The release of KCPE national exams is a unique ceremony that draws various prominent personalities from various ministries and government arms.

Education CS George Magoha has announced that the 2021 KCPE results will be released on Monday, March 28, or Tuesday, March 29.

He said it will all depend on President Uhuru Kenyatta’s diary.

He also noted that marking of the examination is already done and a few formalities were being observed to avoid gaps.

“This exam has gone on extremely well,” Magoha said.

Further, he said that the ministry is in the process of training more teachers on the Competency-based Curriculum (CBC).

“We are going to train a large number of teachers for both Grade 7 and 8 in April this year,” Magoha said.

After the examination release, the pupils will be transiting to Grade 6 from May.

“We are going to follow our road map,” Magoha said.

Teachers Service Commission on Tuesday announced it will train about 60,000 more teachers during the April holidays for the Competency-Based Curriculum.

The trained teachers will be deployed in the junior secondary schools in the country.

In a statement on Tuesday, Macharia said so far, 229, 000 have already been trained in the country.

Further, she noted that she was working with the local leaders as well as the locals in the North Eastern to address the shortage of teachers in the region.
