Student Services

• Accommodation: Male and female hostels are available for a fee of approximately Ksh 4,500 per semester , on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Food: It uses a “Pay As You Eat” (PAYE) system where students buy their own meals.

NOTES

1. Each module takes 3 months.
2. All trainees on admission MUST PAY for the Statutory Fees and complete any fee due before all Summative Modularized Assessment.
3. It is important to note that all trainees are encouraged to apply for Higher Education Fund (HEF) to finance their training. Categorization in Higher Education Funding will determine the amount to be paid based on allocation awarded by Government Scholarship. Guidelines are available on (https://students.kuccps.net/login/ and https://portal.hef.co.ke ).Trainees who fail to apply for HEF will be required to pay the full tuition fee in addition to the other levies listed above.
4. Boarding Fee (optional) is Ksh. 4,500.00 per term, and is applicable only to trainees who have cleared Tuition Fees and other Levies.
5. Trainees are expected to cater for their own meals.

GOVERNMENT FEES STRUCTURE FOR ALL NATIONAL POLYTECHNIC COURSES

Following your placement in the institution, you are eligible to apply on reporting the government scholarship, HELB & Bursary to assist you with your Training expenses. In case the government
scholarship and HELB do not cover the cost of your Training, the deficit will be paid by your
parent/guardian.
