TSC INTERNSHIPS-REQUIREMENTS

The Teachers Service Commission shall keep on advertising for TSC internship posts as the need arises.

Eligible candidates seeking these TSC internship posts must meet the following criteria:

1. Be a Kenyan candidate
2. Possess original academic transcripts and other relevant professional certificates
3. Be a fresh graduate-unemployed and not previously employed by the Teachers Service Commission
4. Be registered by the Teachers Service Commission
5. Have at least a Diploma in Education from a recognized institution
6. Possess a personal accident insurance policy to cater for personal risks during the internship period.
7. Have a Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation, DCI.

HOW TO SUCCESSFULLY APPLY FOR TSC INTERNSHIPS

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO AAPLY FOR TSC INTERNSHIPS?

Those who wish to apply must meet the following requirements:

. Must be a Kenyan Citizen

. Must possess original academic and professional certificates

. Should be currently unemployed

. Should not be previously employed by the TSC on permanent terms

. Must be TSC registered

. Should be a holder of a P1 Certificate for those wishing to serve in public primary schools and a minimum of a Diploma for secondary schools

. Be ready to serve in any public school within Kenya where services are required

TSC INTERNSHIPS ESSENTIAL DOCUMENTS

. A valid certificate of Good Conduct.

. A National Identity Card or Passport

. A copy of KRA Pin Certificate

. TSC Registration Certificate

. Two coloured passports

. Personal accident insurance cover.

TSC INTERNSHIPS SELECTION CRITERIA

The Teachers Service Commission calculateS preliminary scores for the invited interviewees.

Some of the factors considered to arrive at the score for each candidate include the Candidate’s Year of Graduation-length of stay and the quality of academic papers.

Teachers who graduated earlier will be favoured by the marking scheme especially if their academic papers are quality.
