Amabuko High School’s KCSE 2025 Results Analysis & Grade Count

Amabuko High School recorded impressive results in the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, KCSE. A total of 524 out of 525 Candidates scored a mean grade of C+ (plus) and above to qualify for university admissions in 2026. This translated to a Direct University Transition rate of 99.81%

KCSE Results – Meaning of X, Y, P, W and U

W – Withheld Results

The ‘W’ grade denotes that a candidate’s examination results have been withheld on suspicion of involvement in examination malpractice. This means that investigations are ongoing to ascertain the validity of the claims.

X – Absent Candidate

P – Pended Results

The ‘P’ grade indicates that a candidate’s examination results have been pended due to an infringement on the entry requirements for the examination.

U – Ungraded Results

Candidates receive a ‘U’ grade when their examination results are ungraded due to an infringement of the awards criteria.
