Ahmed Shahame Mwidani Technical Training Institute (ASMTTI) is a public technical and vocational training tertiary level education institution (college) which was established in 2016 alongside 159 other technical training institutes spread across Kenya to constituencies with none. It was established under the Education Act 2013 to offer curricular developed by the CurriculumDevelopment Assessment and Certification Council (CADACC), KASNEB, KICD among others.
The college kicked off its operations in September 2017.
It is managed by a Board of Governors which consists of appointees by the Cabinet Secretary who represent the community, Principal Secretary, County Governor, industry and professionals.
Currently, Ahmed Shahame Mwidani Technical Training Institute (ASMTTI) is headed by Stephen N. Gofwah, the principal and secretary to the Board of Governors.
