A student portal is a simplified way through which universities enhance services to students at their convenience.
Not everyone can access it. To access the portal, you must have a student registration number and password which is given to students once they get admitted to the university.
KENYATTA UNIVERSITY’S NEW STUDENT PORTAL
Kenyatta University has opened a new student portal for online registration and hostel booking.
To register for your favourite course, create an account first.
Here are simplified steps towards achieving this:
1. Visit the Kenyatta University students’ portal to log in- http://studentsts.ku.ac.ke/Login.aspx.
2. Enter your details. The student ID is the last sequence of numbers for instance if the actual student number is M30S/5942/2019, the student ID should be 5942/2019.
3. Enter your first and last name in the columns provided.
3. You do not need to enter the details of your birthplace since it is already generated to help you generate your forgotten password.
SERVICES AVAILABLE AT THE KENYATTA UNIVERSITY STUDENTS PORTAL
The following services are available at the Kenyatta University Students portal once you log in:
. Financial services such as fees statement, proforma invoice, fees structure, receipts and print statement
. Academic information such as Timetable, registration for units, list of attempted units, examination cards, list of registered units and provisional results of students.
. Accommodation services- here you can book a room even if you are on holiday.
. Password resetting- this tab enables you to reset your password in case you forget the current one.
