2023/2024 SCHOOL TERM DATES FOR ALL LEARNERS
The Ministry of Education has finally released new term dates for the 2023-2024 academic year. According to the 2023/2024 academic calendar dates at our disposal, all basic primary and secondary learning institutions will reopen on January 23,2023 for first term once the December-January long break lapses.
The 2023 academic calendar will usher in a new era in the education sector in Kenya with the very first cohort of the new Competency-based curriculum expected to join junior secondary schools as day scholars.
According to the current education Cabinet Secretary, parents and guardians of grade six learners are expected to select junior secondary schools bearing in mind the proximity of the schools to the learner’s home since grade 7 learners are expected to enroll for day junior secondary schools.
