KNEC Announces Date When KCSE Exams Results Will Be Ready For Release as KCSE 2022 Examinations Kick Off

The long awaited Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, KCSE examinations have finally kicked off with candidates taking their English paper 1 national tests countrywide.

As promised by the newly appointed CS Education Ezekiel Machogu, security has been heightened to curb cases of irregularities and ensure fairness.

In the country, there are over 800,000 KCSE candidates who have just started their final exam. Most of them are expected to do well and get good grades before proceeding to universities and colleges.

According to the latest Knec News Today, new details have just emerged regarding the marking and releasing of the 2022 KCSE results. As per the latest report shared by the Kenya National Examinations Council, Knec this morning, it has finally been confirmed that the KCSE 2022 national exams will end on December 23 of this year and marking is expected to start after the festive season on January 2, 2023. Knec contracted Professionals technically known as examiners, will take a maximum of 18 days to complete the marking process. The deadline for marking KCSE 2022 Examinations has been set on January 20, 2023 barely two days before the Schools reopen.

Worth noting however is the fact that the 18-days window period for marking the 2022 KCSE national examinations is on the higher side.

Normally, Knec examiners work round the clock sometimes burning the midnight oil to ensure that KCSE Results are delivered in 14 days.

This therefore means that the KCSE 2022 Results will definitely get released by the CS Education Ezekiel Ombaki Machogu at Mtihani House before schools reopen for the 2023 academic year.

Already, Knec has officially invited KCPE examiners to access the Knec portal starting November 25, 2022 to download their invitation letters that will serve as a gate pass when reporting to their marking centres that are centralized in Nairobi.

KCSE 2022 examiners on the other hand are expected to access the Knec examiners portal as from December 5, 2022 and accept the invitation to mark the 2022 scripts at the stated payment rates per script then download the acceptance letter in readiness for this great event.

All candidates in the country are therefore urged to train their eyes and ears on the prize and turn a blind eye on examination cheats masquerading as KCSE 2022 leakage peddlers  and do their work.

Besides, cases of exam irregularities will not be accepted. Those who will be found with smartphones or cheating materials, including teachers or principals, will be detained and disciplinary action will be taken against them.
