2019/ 2020 FORM ONE NATIONAL SCHOOLS’ SELECTION
National schools are ranked the highest in Kenya.
This is because they are well equipped with learning resources that facilitate smooth learning.
Unlike County, extra-county and sub-county secondary schools, national schools are few hence paving the way for a stiff competition for KCPE candidates wishing to join them.
Selection is usually done online through the Ministry of Education.
Below is a set of instructions on how to select your preferred national school:
- Select the county and sub-county in which you sat the KCPE exam.
- Key in your index number and submit.
- Click on the “admission letter” tab at the bottom of the page to get your admission letter.
- Click on the “Print” or “Download” icon to download your letter to your phone or computer.
- Give the copy to your headteacher for endorsement. The headteacher is expected to stamp it in the space provided.
- Present the letter for admission together with a copy of your birth certificate.
